Overview

A special treat for guests in Mirador on any day of your stay is a complimentary 10-minute hand or foot massage for each guest.  Simply ask your horsewoman to request a spa technician from the nearby Salon. Don’t get up!  She’ll come to you at the villa at the time you request between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. One per guest. No charge. Please tip. Enjoy!

Guests are provided free overseas calls to the US, Canada, and the UK (applies to all landlines and cell phones in the US and Canada, and all landlines in the UK).

The Tryall Club membership: complimentary beach, pickle ball, tennis, gym, pool, Hummingbird Kids Club, non-motorized water sports, Internet room, new Usain Bolt Games Room for kids, teens & adults, jogging trail, afternoon tea & Manager's Cocktail Party every Monday night. For various fees: golf, tennis lessons, Happy Hour, hair salon & spa, bars & restaurants, boutique, motorized water sports & Reggae Night on the Beach Thursday night.

Accommodations

Architecturally, Mirador is on two levels.

Upper Entrance Level
The entrance foyer opens to the top floor. Here is the large Master Bedroom with a king-size bed, and an en-suite bathroom with both Jacuzzi and shower. The east end of the bedroom opens through glass French doors to a small balcony with a commanding view of Round Hill and beyond. The Master Suite includes cable television, a ceiling fan, and state-of-the-art quiet remote control air conditioning.

Downstairs Level
Down one flight of stairs are the well-equipped kitchen, open space dining area, and living room with handsome gray walls and a sitting area furnished in crisp white cotton. The sofa can convert to a queen-size sofa bed for a third and fourth guest. A washer, dryer, and full bathroom are also on this level. At the east end of the living room, glass French doors open to a semi-covered private terrace & grassy lawn … and another beautiful view.

This living area includes a second cable television, a ceiling fan, and state-of-the-art quiet remote control air conditioning.

The Tryall Club Membership 

A significant amenity for guests in this villa is membership at the excellent Tryall Club.  On 2,200 acres, Tryall’s golf course is among the most beautiful in the world.  It's 18 hillside and seaside fairways have been home to the Johnnie Walker, Mazda, and other PGA championship events.  The resident pro offers workshops and private lessons.   The Tryall tennis club features 4 Agile Turf courts and 5 Nova Cushion courts, some lit for night play, with world-class pros on call.  All white attire is required. 

The beach is well-planned for parents and children. Have lunch at the beach bar.  Work out in the well-equipped gym and compete in the Usain Bolt Games Room at the Great House (teens love it).  Jog the marked trails. Snorkeling, kayaking, Hobie Cat, and sunfish are complimentary.  Glass bottom boats, charter fishing, a boat to the reef, and any captained craft attract various fees.  Enjoy weekly events like a complimentary Manager’s Cocktail Party on Mondays, as well as Beach BBQ and Reggae Night beach parties for an additional fee.

*Tryall Club Temporary Membership Dues

The Tryall Club is a private club where members may use most facilities at no charge except for the tennis shop, ball boys, bar & restaurant, spa, motorized watersports, nanny services, and golf.  Complimentary amenities include the beach, non-motorized watersports, tennis, the fitness room, the Hummingbird Kids Club, Great House afternoon tea, the Manager's Cocktail Party, and various special events.

The Tryall Club requires all villa and condo guests to become members during their stay via a Temporary Membership Dues cost of US$160 (plus a 15% service charge) per week for each guest 16 years and over, or US$32 (plus a 15% service charge) per day per person for stays of less than 7 days. Children between the ages of 13 and 15 are at a discounted rate of 50% plus a 15% service charge. For children 12 years and younger, the Temporary Membership Dues are complimentary.  

Plan to pay your TMD fee at the Front Desk in the Great House when you register (see below).

Please note: There may be occasions when some or all the facilities for the hotel may be closed for membership guest services due to a private hotel event. The Tryall Club reserves the right to change or alter its membership packages with no advance notice.

REGISTRATION

When your driver brings you to Tryall, you will check in at the front desk.  You will be asked for your passport as a means of identification.  You will sign a waiver & need to provide a driving license for the use of the complimentary golf carts provided at the villa as well as any additional golf carts you may wish to rent.

The Tryall Club can set up an account for your stay.  A credit card is required at check-in and a credit hold will be placed until check-out for budgetary items & signing privileges (i.e., groceries, restaurant dining, golf, and activities).  The calculated amount for the credit hold is approximately US$150 per bedroom per night.  If you plan to make payment for your Folio Account in cash, they will request a cash deposit.  If you plan to make payment by credit card, they will place a hold on your credit card. 

The Tryall Club will charge your credit card or take a cash payment for the Temporary Membership Dues of US$160 (plus a 15% service charge) per person per week for each guest 16 years and over, or US$32 (plus 15% service charge) per person per day for stays of less than 7 days; a discount of 50% (plus the 15% service charge) applies to children who are ages 13-15 years old.  Children 12 years and younger are complimentary.  

Golf Cart Waiver & Indemnification

If you would like to use the golf carts supplied by the villa, you will be asked to sign a golf cart damage waiver form on arrival.

You agree to always operate the golf cart in a safe and courteous manner at The Tryall Club. You agree to be responsible for any or all damages and replacement costs if you use the golf cart during your stay.  You also agree to the following rules:

• Golf Cart Operator must be a minimum of 18 years of age and must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Golf Carts must be operated properly. Horseplay, racing, or other misuse of the golf cart will not be tolerated.  Golf Carts must remain within the gates of the resort and are not permitted outside the gates.
• Passengers must always be seated when the cart is in motion. Feet/legs, arms, and the entire body must remain inside the cart.
• Report any malfunctions or cart problems to management immediately.

Additional  Information

Staff

Meet Jackie, our cheerful Housekeeper, available from 8:30 am to 4:40 pm daily. She takes care of your breakfast and lunch, manages your laundry, and keeps Mirador impeccably clean and tidy.

For other meals, we recommend exploring the restaurants at Tryall, one of their special theme nights, or venturing into Montego Bay to try the restaurants there. On special request, Jackie can prepare simple meals and leave them for you to serve at your convenience. Please note that an extra charge of $30 per meal applies for this personalized service, and additional gratuities for extra meals are at your discretion.

Gratuity Guideline
Guests are asked to tip Jackie US$20 per day.

Food and Beverage
Present your credit card to the Front Desk upon arrival. This will enable you to charge all Tryall Club services and establish an account at the Commissary just across the lane. You may join Jackie to shop there ~ or simply tell our Concierge the food and drink items you’d like Jackie to pre-purchase to be in your kitchen when you arrive.

Nearby Amenities
Mirador is located just a minute's stroll from the Great House, afternoon tea terrace, restaurant, bar, shops, commissary, and free Games Room (pool table, ping pong, foosball). A short walk also leads to the spa, beauty salon, and fitness center. The excellent tennis facility is just around the corner.

The Club’s large infinity pool is just a few steps beyond the open-air restaurant terrace. A complimentary shuttle is available outside Mirador’s door for trips throughout the resort, including the Beach Cafe, golf Pro Shop, and Beach Club.

Golf Cart Rentals
If you wish to rent a transportation cart for short breezy trips throughout the resort, the Club’s Pro Shop can take care of this for you. Daily cart rental rates are $40 + 16.5% tax per day for 1 to 4 days ~ and $30 + 16.5% tax per day for 5 days or more. Damage Deposit ~ A $500 refundable damage deposit applies to each rental.
